This is a great all around bit and the Horze D-Ring Snaffle Bit is a popular choice for the hunter show ring.
Featuring a single jointed mouthpiece this bit collapses on the horse’s tongue and bars when pressure is applied to the reins. The d-ring style cheek pieces assist with steering and the fixed cheek reduces the risk of rubs or pinching. This bit is a great choice for both seasoned and green horses.
Thickness: 12mm. Shape of the bit rings prevent corners of the mouth from being pinched. Similar to the Egg-butt snaffle.
Care Instructions:
Always wash a bit after each ride. Remove from bridle and soak in hot water. Use small brush to remove residue. Dry with clean towel.
